What will a Pharmacy Coordinator do every day?
Ensure efficient operation of the day-to-day activities within a pharmacy that dispenses 600 prescriptions daily
Manage Pharmacy Technician Staff to maintain appropriate daily coverage
Standardize office procedures, systems, forms, and implement revisions as necessary
Manage associated vendor relationships
Helps promote a positive work environment by leading, communicating, and partnering with the team and management
Provide monthly reporting and as needed reporting to managers and directors
Train new internal and external staff on processes and software
Coordinate quarterly facility inspections with Pharmacist-in-Charge
Pharmacy Coordinator minimum requirements will include:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent training in business, marketing, or management
Minimum 2 years of operations experience; Pharmaceutical experience preferred
National Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred
Strong skills in strategic planning, implementation, and proven project management experience
Must be comfortable working with various types of technology and software, including PC's, Microsoft Office, and strong Excel skills
Must be able to actively contribute to a positive team environment
Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks, remain focused, and work independently
Must be detail oriented
Excellent communication and writing skills
Professionalism is a must
Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to engage in frequent stooping, bending, reaching, and squatting throughout the day
Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Candidate must be reliable and have a solid work history to be seriously considered for the position. A completed pre-employment drug screen and background check will be conducted.
Position hours: Five 8-hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 am and 6:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Government holiday schedule in effect.
