Pharmacy Technician - Customer Transition Coordinator

What will a Pharmacy Technician do every day on the Transition Team?

  • Supports all facility transitions including onboarding, ownership changes, eMAR/Integration changes, and offboarding.
  • Individuals on this team will work with stakeholders internally and externally to ensure our customers have a positive experience and build strong relationships with account managers.
  • Manage Customer Transitions processes, including partnering with relevant team leaders, facilitating transition update meetings with internal and external stakeholders, and providing overall project management for transitions
  • Provide conversion order entry and patient support for transitions
  • Provide backup order entry and patient admission support to operations teams as needed

Pharmacy Tech minimum requirements will include:

  • High School diploma or GED required 
  • Active Pharmacy Technician License required
  • Ability to obtain multiple state Pharmacy Technician licenses and National Pharmacy Technician Certification through an accredited program
  • 1 year pharmacy technician experience preferred 
  • Experience in pharmacy order management and admissions preferred 
  • Strong computer skills and experience using a document management program 
  • Knowledge of drugs and drug categories
  • Must be comfortable working with various types of technology
  • Must be able to actively contribute to a positive team environment
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to handle multiple tasks, remain focused, and work independently
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

You must be reliable and have a solid work history to be seriously considered for the position.  

Position hours: Eight-hour shifts scheduled between the hours of 8am and 6pm, Monday through Friday. Flexibility is a must.
